It has been quite a month! I was determined to finish as many PhD's (projects half done) as possible. I truly surprised myself!
I will start with these guys!

This was the project that I did a little bit more of between every other project, so it has been a while. It was easy to finish all the foxes and then do something else. Then I would do all the bunnies and then I would do something else, and so on.

Originally, this was bought as a kit to make one big quilt. I decided that 4 baby quilts was better.

I also elected to keep the quilting simple since the quilt itself was a show stopper!
The next big finish of March was this beauty.

I have had the top of this quilt done for years now. I never felt equipped or courageous enough to actually quilt it though.

I chose I feathery/flowery quilt design that I felt flowed with the themes already present in the fabrics. It was time to get this thing done.

I wanted the backing to be an off white to keep this as classy as possible.

All that is left is the binding.
This one isn't as close to being done, but I did get the entire top finished today.

This was a fun panel I found at a quilt show. I acquired some fabrics that were a part of the collection and added the borders. Very simple and very fun! This one is just a bit smaller than a twin.

My last monthly highlight is this.

This quilt has stolen my heart. The color scheme and inspiration in this is perfect. This particular one has already sold, but I will be making a couple more of them, and I might have to keep one for myself.

I also accomplished a smaller project this month. I got an order for placemats as a gift and this is what I came up with.

Doing a small project like this is always a great change of pace for me. It also gives me the opportunity to do more intricate stitching since smaller quilts are easier to work with. The placemats turned out so well that I decided to do a table runner to go with them.
As always, thank you all for reading! Note that the baby quilts at the beginning are completely finished and for sale. The purple and green animal one will also be for sale when it is all finished. The blue and gray inspirational quilt is already sold, but I can make more and I can do some color variations. Message me if interested!
